A letter from Lola Mecing that came with the memoires.

                                                                             June 20, 1997

Dear Fuji,

 How is life now? We pray for your good

health always. For us still the same. Even no

money still we eat three meals a day. Elma

might have told stories about us.

   Sorry not to comply your request earlier.

You know we are already old and our

memories stagnant. Especially

when your Lolo ot stroke that everything

is forgotten. We have to attend to his

needs everyday. Good he is getting better

now. So its apt for you to excuse our

discripancies ok?

We are now in Manila for your Lolo's

check up. Ther was great improvement in his

health and I pray for his recovery.

When you want to send a letter, please

address it in Banga, as we are going home

next week.
