WERE YOU ENJOYING YOUR LIFE AT THIS AGE? (7-14)

During this time when the Aklan river overflow- the Cupang creek was flooded and we youngsters enjoy taking a bath in the flooded areas. We swim and run & catch our companions, splash water to their bodies and laugh and laugh.

But at this age I learned to play cards, like poker games, and (paya) making two coins under a hat & guess whether eagle or man. We bet money and I was very lucky always. At age 14 I was second year in high school, but girls have no place in my vocabulary. Sometimes we serenaded our classmates, and in going home we took fruits along our way.

DESCRIBE RELATIONSHIP WITH PARENTS AND BROTHERS AND SISTERS:

At the age of 7 our family relationship was happy and have little needs for we were small kids. Then as we grew bigger & older we usually played together like hide and seek and sometimes play ball. Our discipline were the older ones have the duty to help and protect the younger and take care of them. But the older must be followed by the youngsters. Our parents take care of us and send us to school. They were very kind to us and feed us well and buy our clothes. We sleep together in our room with mosquito nets.

We brothers and sisters love each other but sometimes quarrel because of misunderstandings. like one will take a ball or some belongings of brothers or sister. Because we were brothers & sisters all is well again.
