At age 50 up I became conscious of my family life. It was my ambition to send my children to school how hard our life was(?) I send Bob to Manila to take any course he wanted. He stayed with my cousin Salvador Recto and paid 40 pesos as his board and lodging. I gave him 20 pesos for his personal expences. With this amount he was able to survived and finished his Bachelor of Science in Commerce accounting major. The following year he passed the board and licensed accountant. He then was able to get job and helped his brothers attend school. This I thank God for all my prayers to make my children finished their studies were answered. My second son Florencio "Buddy" took auto mechanic and later studied agriculture. That time the Aklan College of Agriculture was opened right in our town that we were not hard up for he does not spend board and lodging. After 4 years of struggle he finished the course. He then took Civil service examination and passed. He was called to attend training in Los Banos and after a year passed again the examination...
