My cousins who was caught by the Japanese whom they brought him to another place carrying their things was able to escape. He said he prayed hard to the Virgin Mary to help him. Another cousin who was run over by a jeep whose legs  were smashed was able to walk after a year. One incident also happen to two members who were riding a jeep when hold-upper held all passengers but they were spared when they call the help of the Virgin.
