LIST ALL THE IMPORTANT AND UNFORGETTABLE EXPERIENCES AT THIS AGE:

Because of poverty I went to Manila to find work and helped my sisters schooling. I used to go out in company with my friends. Ilived with my cousins and after few months I got employment as poultry man. I enrolled in bookkeeping and typewritting school for 1 year. As I was far from my family I struggled hard to live by myself. I rented a room and washed my own clothes. Later on I asked my sister Deling to Manila and enrolled her in Dressmaking school. She took dressmaking for 1 year. i bought her sewing machine and she helped our parents with her earnings. When I reached 28 as I was confident that my sister could make good with her work to support our family, I decided to get married to your Lola.

WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT OBJECT IN YOUR POCESSION AT THIS AGE?

With our early marriage we rented a room. I still worked as a clerk earning P45 a month. Still I play poker during Saturdays and lucky to win enough for our daily needs. We buy what we need in the house like chairs and tables, utensils, blankets and aparador. We are happy and a year later our eldest son Bob was born. We then rented a bigger house. Here poker players come during week ends and play until the next day. Good we get much "tong" although we spend good food for them.
