AGE 25 to 50

  WHAT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT THING FOR YOU AT THIS AGE?

Here we waited for the others to join our trip to Aklan. We stayed here for a week. Here I met people again who are gamblers. Good I'm always lucky to win in the game. We even helped others who had no money to pay their fare. At these times your Lola is seven months pregnant for our second child. It took us 2 nights and two days travel to reach the shore of (Buranga?). We were lucky to catch up the last trip of the ACEBECO bus. In Aklan we stayed in jugas. We built a small nipa house. Here we raised chicken and pigs. We also planted rice. We thought we are already free to live when one day the group of Japanese was on their way to our place. Good my brother-in-law manong Cuto the brother of your Lola give sign to us to run going to the mangrove. We ran in differrent directions going towards the thickest part of the nipa palms. After they left they burned the house on their way back to Banga where they killed those they caught  on thier way.
In the house we lived my second child was born- we call Buddy. He was robust and healthy even do we are always in haste afraid to met the Japanese.
