HOW WERE YOU COPING WITH LIFE AT THIS STAGE OF YOUR LIFE?
A week later the Japanese soldiers entered manila passing Novaliches. Here we fled to the forested part of the place. We didn't see the Japanese soldiers but we could see only their trucks passing with leaves and branches of trees as comouflage. As we no more things to eat we decided to moved to Malabon.
In Malabon we live in a house owned by a family from Banga. Here I met many who is fun of playing games like poker, and other cards. I am happy that I was lucky to win every game. Here we had much to buy we need for our food.
After two months there came two men from Banga who is looking for any one who would want to go home to the province. As we had enough money to spend we joined the group to go.
The batel they used in coming to manila is stationed in a small island in Batangas. Our problem is how to passed in places where there are Japanese soldiers. The supposed head of the group had a Japanese friend who was in Manila before the soldiers came, helped us. He was our tour guide going to Batangas. Our problem again is the money. The money we had is Philippine one. Good your Lola was wise to put the paper...
