LIST ALL THE IMPORTANT AND UNFORGETABLE EXPERIENCES AT THIS AGE:
It was moonlight night when the Japanese dropped the first bomb in Manila that all lights were turn out. It was a total brown out. We all tremble with fear and do not know what to do. We packed whatever clothes we could carry and good there was taxi yet who run near our place. We rode in it and fled towards Calo-ocan further Manila which is their target. In there we could hear planes come in waves dropping bombs here and there. The moment we hear the siren all of us has to run any place for cover. Sometimes I only make the basket "nigo" to cover Bob under the stairs so as not to see the planes. One time I went to malabon to buy our supply of food when I was on my way back home when the waves of plane came dropping bomb near our way, that I jump out of the calesa and hid under the boat parking near the beach. There I saw clouds of shells dropped in the water going toward the city.

The next day we moved again to another place but far from Manila. We asked shelter from a family whose house is very small for us to accomodate. There were 6 of us together. The other borders we had were away in other places they felt safe to hide. While we were in this place Novaliches; the Japanese entered Manila. They passed near the place we evacuated so we again run in any direction of safety. After a few days that the Japanese has settled in Manila and suburbs we again decided to go to Malabon. We had 60 pesos left for our food and do not know what to do.
